There is a reason why Trump bonds with dictators seamlessly, but seems to struggle with everyone else. They see themselves in him, and he in them.
All over the world, dictators publicly display tanks and other symbols of war to feed their egos, replace values-based patriotism with might-makes-right cult of personality, and foster the perception that their opposition is pacified and their hold on power inevitable.
