Its almost like they don't understand how history remembers these things. Their legacies are tainted. Their posterity will be horrified and ashamed. And for what? What makes them throw it all away?

You have hit on the big question I cannot get passed. I knew Marco when he was Speaker of the FL House. I disagreed w almost all the Rs did, but still, he seemed respectable, serious. He has thrown it all away. I can never look at him the same way. Why? I cannot accept it.

When did his campaign ever stop? He's been holding "rallies" for his supporters almost weekly. I sure hope the GOP was paying for them.

We need to codify laws that prevent presidents from campaigning while in office for the first three years. Their position of power in office already gives them an advantage over their opposition. The president should focus on his or her job and not waste taxpayers' money.
