We should also recognize that agricultural labor IS skilled labor.
We should have an immigration system more welcoming to the highly educated and skilled, while also valuing refugees and others fleeing oppression and destitution for American freedom and prosperity. Their humble beginnings renew our commitment to ideals essential to our strength.

I’d prefer an Education System that made our own youth more Educated and Skilled, and left with less debt, rather than allowing the children of overseas wealthy families preferential admittance

It would be great if we quit bringing over “highly skilled” immigrants to fill tech jobs just because they’re willing to work for less. I’ve on-boarded some of these workers, and calling them “highly skilled” is laughable. Many of them are not highly skilled, they’re just cheap.
