Yes. President Trump always bends or obscures the facts as he plays to his base. Beyond that, he knows the rest of America is outraged, but he really doesn’t care at all. It appears tyrannical. The amazing thing is his followers don’t see it that way. They love it.

In an ideal world, anyone playing footsie with an attacking enemy would be immediately arrested and tried for treason, not handed the presidency. But then that would require that an entire Republican party weren't treason weasels themselves. Truly shameful!

Playing footsie with an attacking enemy is also known as collusion.

Any Republican who even thinks for a moment that Obama was “spying” on
@realDonaldTrump forgets that Obama was not the candidate, he wasn’t investigating an opponent. He was the President, protecting his country! - 1 more reply

At the risk of being completely irreverent, Evan is not talking about the kind of footsie in this .gif. He’s talking about possible conspiracy to commit espionage and it can lead to treason against our country. Papadopolous, Trump campaign and Trump were/are playing with fire.pic.twitter.com/3ucKC328nM
