I feel the same way. To only value immigrants from certain countries or from a wealthier or higher educated background is to discount our heritage & legacy of who is America. All freedom loving people from every race, country, religion, background, rich/poor have a place here.

I'd amend that just slightly. We do need immigrants, especially those who do understand the human dignity of true freedom, as achieved through hard work and as much self-reliance as possible.
