My 4-year-old loves seeing pickup trucks with absurdly large flags, yelling "truck with a flag!" every time. He can't produce initial tr-, instead substituting it with a hard c, however...

Out of the mouth of babes!!! I have a similar story. When my son was 2, we were watching a parade of fire trucks go by our house. He was so excited, he couldn't say "fire trucks!" He WAS able to say "f--- --ucks!" in the cutest possible way. My hubs and I fell over in laughter.
