Assuming you're correct, at least Congress could be bothered to perform its job with President Sanders. The biggest problem we have is the refusal by Republicans in Congress to do their job when it comes to Trump. President Sanders would thus be an unambiguous improvement.

Also worth pointing out continuously that democrats (mostly, like 99%) want social democracy, not socialism (per se). I think we've a huge issue with language and understanding, and it needs to be defined better.

Thanks Evsn, keep the tweets coming. This is important. People want to know why Bernie is so bad. I see his voting record as pro-Putin, because he votes against sanctions, and he votes against Magnitsky Act, which is a pro-Russia and anti free-speech vote.

I don't want to vote for either but, if faced with the choice, I think I trust Sanders to not ignore govt norms and tear down society more than Trump. Is that fair?

So Canada, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany don’t have rule of law? Creating a social safety net isn’t anywhere near the same as fascism. Reagan said Social Security would end democracy in America. GOP said the New Deal was socialist & would hurt US. They were all wrong.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I'm not too keen on Sanders, but almost any Democrat is better than trump or a current Republican. Republicans have lost their damned minds. CPAC was proof for me.pic.twitter.com/pFuASvB4H6

The problem is you Americans define "socialism" so broadly as to render it meaningless. If "using taxes to pay professionals to provide a public service" is socialism, then libraries, parks, the police and military are all "socialism".
