So Evan, are you saying you would vote for Trump over any of these three? Or are you saying, principled conservatives, D or R, would just stay home?

Presidential Elections are often won in the middle with the swing- Independent voter. I’ve worked many presidential and statewide elections on the ground. Sanders and Warren will make it harder to sell the Dem ticket to swing voters. Biden or Klobuchar will appeal to the middle.

Nope. Nothing supports this.

Ironic how the party that gave us Trump now seems to tell us we have to give up everything we believe in to defeat Trump. Apparently ideas mean nothing.

Either anti-Trump conservatives recognize the profound threat to the rule of law presented by Trump or they don't. Those who do will vote for virtually any Democrat. Those who don't will not vote for any Democrat. There is no point in pandering to them.

Or maybe, just maybe, consideration will be given to the fact that most Americans find themselves in the middle of the political spectrum. The majority of us are sick of "pandering" to far right AND far left. Be careful who you nominate!

"Don't vote for candidates you believe in, vote for candidates people you disagree with might not hate that much" is an extremely inspiring and empowering message, thank you

I appreciate your passion on this, but at this point, for me at least, the main goal is ridding the US of Trump and as much of the enabling GOP as possible. Repubs can do much better than where they are now. They used to be decent humans.

there is no such coalition
-
That’s not true there David Frum, David Brooks, Bret Stephens, Steve Schmidt, and Evan McMullin. That’s a 5 person coalition but still a coalition!
