As troubling as Jared Kushner’s in-law security clearance is, the more fundamental problem is the nepotism that brought him to the White House in the first place. Once our government becomes a ruling family affair, all standards, safeguards and protocols go right out the window.

Actually, his security clearance is the most troubling. It is likely, and will be investigated, that he is trading classified information to the Saudis (and others) in exchange for business deals.

and wasn’t the whole american revolution about not wanting to be under the rule of a King - Monarchy? Don’t answer that, but shocking that Trump supporters want to be under his Dictatorship

Its been surprising to watch the USA accept the nepotism so easily, it should have been shocking but you elected a man opposed to basic american values and democracy and the media is still playing his game like they are scared to be fake news

Don’t forget the GOP ruled both houses of Congress until Jan 2019. There was zero oversight.

Yes, the nepotism is bad. However, Kush may have used the intelligence to get into MBS's good graces (remember the Saudi roundup of "enemies") and may have been instrumental in Khashoggi's killing. And the embargo of Qatar, then the money from Qatar to Kush Co.
