According to Michael Cohen's testimony, the president knew in advance and encouraged Wikileaks' release of emails stolen by Russian intel to harm Trump's main opponent. Whether this meets the requirements for conspiracy or not, it is certainly a betrayal of the American people.pic.twitter.com/wYSyD4YqMX

Conservative voters appear to embrace Russia as their ally and despise Democrats as their enemy. They have no problem with Trump enlisting Putin's help to defeat the Democrats. It's all very disturbing.

Honest question. Why are all of these people, politicians, and lay people, so blindly loyal to Trump?

Because they see it as their most sure way to power. They believe he will succeed in destroying democracy, and they want to be on his side. It’s the same thing that happened in Poland and Hungary: people bet on the dictator.

And what was Russian getting in exchange? Reduced or ending of sanctions (aka ‘adoptions’ discussed during the Trump Tower Meeting)

That's what I want to know. What's in it for Russia? Is it just sanctions or something more? How deep is the motivation?

I believe the fact that he knew Russia did it and said over and over during the campaign that they didn't, should meet any requirement for conspiracy.

There are 'literally' NO REQUIREMENTS * needed * Ask Clinton what HE was IMPEACHED over! It's ALL politics. No 'Beyond a reasonable doubt' required. Let's say there's a 20% chance the president is a foreign agent? THAT *should* be ENOUGH to impeach!
