I grew up in a military family... from my perspective, a commander in chief that makes wholly arbitrary life & death decisions about military involvement in conflict isn't a hero or leader... he's a fool willing to gamble with the lives of our troops & the security of our nation.
Actually, Iran, Assad and especially Russia are eager for our departure. We were trying to do a regime change in Syria that displaced millions of people, and helped prolong the war. If Assad has to go, then don’t beat around the bush with proxy wars that never work. Go to actual war with him. The U.S. involvement there created chaos and was a disaster
