No. Trump wouldn't have been elected without Putin. Ongoing hot war or not, this is TREASON. We were cyber-attacked and Trump assisted the enemy for his own gain.

The mistress payoffs would have no effect on his base. Knowing about his meetings with Russians and the FBI investigation might have - but the damage to Clinton was the most effective at vote swaying. That was the biggest Russian help for him.

The key thingis that 77K voters across 3 states gave Trump's victory. And there were lots of people voting for him with major reservations -- not the base, the lukewarm "never Clinton" voters. With this info, they might've stayed home in sufficient numbers to change the outcome.
