They’ve failed to expand their base or find a message for our diverse world, so their only hope is to hinder all but their base. Gerrymandering only goes so far & states like MI are acting to stop that. So disenfranchisement & suppression & cheating are only hope. It is shameful.
Why are Republican leaders in various states working so hard to limit our ability to exercise our voting rights? They should be making it easier for all eligible voters to participate, not more difficult. Because Republicans can't win fairly. The people have grown tired of being crapped on, given the short end of the stick, and being had by the rich. We are a rich nation but the people aren't, they are fighting for scraps while the rich toast each other. Rs are to blame.

They've lost any ideal other than holding onto power. That power depends on a few wealthy donors whose interests are opposite those of the people. Thus, these "leaders" HAVE nothing to offer the commoners other than propaganda. When that's not enough, they cheat.
