And, Jack is flat out misleading in his Tweet. Exhibit 1, SNAP enrollment numbers: https://www.factcheck.org/2018/03/oh-snap-misleading-claims-on-benefit-enrollment/ … Exhibit 2, Trump proposed to tighten restrictions, benefits: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/americas-food-insecurity-still-worse-than-in-2007/ …

And can you really give credit to Trump, as Jack is so quick to do, for lowest unemployment of African-Americans when that’s at best a misleading claim:https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2018-05-04/black-unemployment-is-at-an-all-time-low-but-there-s-a-catch …

#jackkingston Fewer on foodstamps just means more people with no food. It's nothing to be proud of. People are working but their wages aren't enough to live on. Slaves had jobs but it didn't mean they were doing great. -
not to mention those still eligible had their benefits cut, this in the face of food price inflation.

Those mocking President Obama's acts of compassion are too ignorant to realize the basis of his faith: Matthew 25. He was member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Chicago, which has had strong ministries among the poor where the church is located.https://trinitychicago.org/

Well, that statistic on food stamps sure sticks in my craw. How can it be a great accomplishment to take food stamps away from needy families. Since there has not been a rise in wages but a rise in costs, I can't think there are fewer families that could use food stamps
