Trump is unworthy of the noble character of our country. He befriends the murderous, nafarious & brutal. He has animosity for the honorable, principled, kind & venerable. What will become of us w/leaders like him? We can’t uphold his leadership & expect to be unchanged by it.
The American interest is best served when we strive to uphold basic human rights at home and abroad. The Trump administration's explicit abandonment of this essential principle today will severely diminish America's power and leave vulnerable populations at greater risk of abuse.
