Agreed.
Consideration of Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation has become dangerously polarized and I’m concerned that it will further our divisions. The only possible remedy is the discovery and review of more information. This rush to vote is unnecessary and does not serve the nation well.

Exactly. Truth is more important here than the timeline. Besides, if it pushes the confirmation past elections, wont that give the people of the USA the power to voice their opinion on the matter? I'm sure Mitch McConnell would agree with that

I applaud your repeated appeals to our better instincts and traditions. That GOP leaders might be persuaded to "serve the nation" (as opposed to party interests), however, is belied by *every* act of the GOP since 2016. There is a time to face facts, and we're there.
