We agree - it was a noble party when Lincoln led it. But, I'm 33 & I'm having difficulty remembering a time when Rs havn't used fundamentally dishonest means to move our slowly liberalizing democracy in their preferred direction. Voter suppression seems to be a preferred method.
This is the kind of callous indecency from the president and too often, even if in lighter shades, from other Republican leaders that makes associating with the modern GOP so unappealing. I've spoken with lots of conservatives - NeverTrumpers who are clearly uncomfortable w/foreign interference & Trump/GOP's corruption. Yet, very few have the political courage to publicly oppose this obviously corrupt SCOTUS nominee. Why is that?
