Agreed. If -- if -- the allegations are credible, he should not only not be appointed to SCOTUS, but he should be impeached and removed from office as a federal judge. We can and should expect our federal judges to be better than this.
Professor Ford is a credible accuser. For the Senate Judiciary Committee to faithfully consider confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh, both should be given the opportunity to testify on the matter under oath, ideally in a public hearing.

This is so tricky with memory being so fallible, she could be mixed up but sincere. Kavanaugh is now even denying he was at the party in the first place. That seems like a risky defense if he did it. All Democrats would have to do is place him there, and it’s pretty much over.
