Pence should also be very, very worried.
If Manafort cooperates with investigators as he's reportedly agreed to do, he'll not only be a valuable source on potential Trump campaign conspiracy with Moscow, but also on the other criminal activities of Putin's oligarchs in Europe and the US. That should worry Putin greatly.

As I have believed for months and months, Manafort is more afraid of Russian hit men than Robert Mueller. A federal cell is safer than freedom. Gotta think his daughter wanting to change her name had some effect.

Putin could try to kill Manafort if he does that. I think that's what may have kept Manifort quiet until now. But it would pretty strange if Putin could do that on American soil.

That would be very amateurish. If the russians or putin are real professionals , they would have killed this guys right after the election..? A Preemptive kill to remove all traces... But maybe i watch too much movies :-)

And maybe he will tell Mueller why he insisted on Pence. I'm curious about the Pence brother that worked or works for Cummins. Majority owned by Russia. They build the engines that move the Russian military. Sure wish a reporter would look into! Sanctions on that company?
