There are many issues that animate us, but there can be none more important than the defense of our own freedom, safeguarded by the separation of powers. Our votes in 2018 should put country over party and ensure an independent Congress that will hold the president accountable.

I knew who Trump was when he ran and didn't vote for him. I feel foolish for not realizing the depth of the depravity, greed, and hunger for power of the modern GOP.
