Why not tackle gerrymandering? Seems like that would do more for preserving our democracy!

Gerrymandering, Citizens United, election security, and a new Fairness Doctrine. These need to be dealt with before our democracy can get anywhere near healthy.

I have never seen the platform of any republican reflecting my values. How could I vote for a republican?

That article contains the most rose colored glasses version of the history of the Republican party I've ever read. How far are you going to get on reform when you can't even honestly evaluate your past?
-
EXACTLY! I like Mr McMullin a lot, but I dn't trust his motivation. A rehab of the Republican Party will just allow the
#whitesupremacists, nazis & squeamish rich people fade in the background where they lurked before. If McM & Finn cn't recognize that, then they're NOT helping. - 6 more replies

Be very careful. These are Republicans. Are they sincere or part of a Treason Trump & Putin Republican plan. As we get closer to the election more bots,, trolls, and known folks with a good "plan" will emerge.

If I’m not mistaken, it was
@Evan_McMullin who made the “I know who Putin pays” tape w/@SpeakerRyan etc. Does this taping &subsequent release sound like a traitor? Mcmullin then started an ind prez campaign. Here is more background. Check his timeline too.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/josh-rogin/wp/2016/08/22/the-story-behind-evan-mcmullins-run-for-president/?utm_term=.cee3b2e8ba3f … - 3 more replies
