If Trump would throw his own country’s intelligence agency under the bus to appease Putin, what assurances do any of our European allies have he wouldn't do the same to them? Trump is a national security threat. He has made us a country no one can trust.

Press releases and tweets without action are worse than doing nothing as they provide a false sense of it and diversion. If they don’t act independently of Trump they are equally responsible and should be held to account. Now is the time, if this didn’t do it nothing ever will.

Real action would be for @JeffFlake, @BobCorker and possibly others to use their power to demand action prior to SCOTUS confirmation. Leverage like this will not exist again and they should use it for the good of country. Short term pain is often required for acts of heroism.

They are compromised. Russia hacked the @GOP servers, too. They won’t do a damned thing but give lip service.

It’s absolutely unacceptable that we do not know what was said in that one on one meeting with Putin. He has proven untrustworthy with our most valued secrets. I have no doubt he gave Putin every single page of information about Russian involvement. I cannot believe this is ok.
