I think we can safely make the case this is treason. Digital warfare is the modern version of Pearl Harbor and aiding/abetting the invader is treason.

he didn't just embrace Putin, he essentially just pledged alliegience to Russia under Putin. Seems the word "treason" comes to mind, and outside of the rhetoric that has been played thusfar. @realdonaldtrump just denounced his allegience to the USA

As a foreigner, I can tell you that America’s rule of law, democratic ideals and the dignity of its presidency were aspirational. The USA was that shining light on the hill. Trump is squandering that. To whom does that little boy in a village in the developing world look to now?
