How I've come to see it too. 90% of GOP base now trusts cultural brethren in Orthodox Russia and Eastern Europe far more than the American Democrats defending US sovereignty. With NRA accepting millions in RU "donations" to commingle w/ US campaign funds, it's an unholy alliance

“Leftward Tilt”? That’s hilarious. I sure didn’t see one. That statement shows how absolutely skewed people’s perception of left and right have become when the previous D presidents - who more closely resemble Eisenhower era republicans are described as “leftist”.
