I prefer America the Beatiful. It speaks to the true content of America. Its ideals.
What a joy it was to find these servicemen and woman rehearsing the Star-Spangled Banner next to the Lincoln Memorial during my morning run today. I’m grateful for them.

America -- what is was, what it used to represent -- is dead under trump and this GOP administration. I take no joy in anything that celebrates America while that lunatic remains in office. None.

Don't allow him to steal your joy; then he has won. America is much bigger than one person. Let's continue to celebrate what so many have fought for: freedom, and the proposition that all are created equal. These ideals are not lost; only hidden. And only for a season.
