This is why racism should’ve been intolerable and completely denounced by the Republican Party when republicans were calling for Obama’s birth certificate. The hate we’re seeing today has always been there, it’s just been normalized and amplified through complacency.

I drove straight through Iowa today. Picked up commentary on the radio about this. Most heartland radio is right wing, Fox, Hannity, Rush... but the local/state stations, had nothing good to say about this.... there was a ring of embarrassment about it... Rightfully so....
