To put #CountryOverPartry, voters on both sides must focus on commonalities, discuss, compromise. Single issues must take a back seat if Principled legislators are to be elected so as to impeach Trump. If the race becomes between two polarized parties, expect the worst imo.
Authoritarians work to create a purely transactional condition in which there is no virtue and no common good, only parochial interests to satisfy with state power in exchange for the support of those who benefit. Frustrated single issue voters and groups are the most vulnerable.
