We need to embrace the institutions and laws that make us great. It requires a clean sweep. #GOTV in November and vote for individuals that embrace decency and will hold our POTUS accountable.
When GOP leaders only controlled Congress they urged respect for Article I powers & decried executive overreach. But when they took the White House, they subordinated Congress to the presidency and adopted an absolutist view of unitary executive theory. How can we trust them now?

Can't. They breached their duty to the Constitution and the American people. They decided to keep knowledge of RU's interference in the election in the "family;" they threatened Obama with going public about it. This behavior should be a huge campaign issue for Nov2018.

Which you predicted in 2016. Even still, it’s hard to believe they have put our liberty in jeopardy to this extent. The constitution is only as strong as the people who choose to uphold it. Justifying Trump has caused the GOP to look beyond the mark & miss what’s more important.
