Thank you to both Evan & Max for being living examples of GOP actively working to find cross-party compromises. Hoping they will inspire more Republicans - and just as many Democrats - to do the same.

The problem with being against partisanship is that one party has officially ceded itself to fascism. The Civil War was never really settled because we never did the truth and reconciliation part, and now it's come back to bite us in the ass with this mess.

No. I hate to disagree but we're at an inflection point that goes way beyond partisan enmity. The ugliest part of America has been exposed and it must be defeated, *decisively*, right now, and it must hold for several generations to come. There is no room for compromise.

The problems : 1. Division has worked. Over a 50 year period it has brought the GOP from powerlessness to power. Money is being made by the propaganda ecosystem that has fueled the division. 2. 40% of the nation is now untethered from facts, imperviously so.

2/ Very hard to avoid partisan enmity with so many elected Reps are not only saying nothing, but are eagerly lining up to tell Trump what an honor and blessing it is to work for him, when some Reps are actively working to thwart the Mueller investigation.
