Well macron knows the solution to this problem.... But he would rather import more of the problem and hope they vote for him..... Well he has reaped in enough cash to fuck off when the country actually falls apart sooo he doesn't give a shit either way

30% of France yet to wake up, just like 30% of the UK. Maybe a certain % of people are always beyond reason.

This would be getting a load of press coverage if Trump. Macron vote was a populist vote but ppl now seeing that although not a politician before he is pretty much exactly what they disliked in the old parties they voted out.

No one would want to see such figures, but a fairly minor set back in the context of the short but dynamic rise of LREM. The logic of getting more contentious reforms passed early in the term makes sense.

It’s just one poll who always had a bad approach to Macron. The rest tell a different story.

What planet are you on? Who voted for him and LaREM if not the middle classes? Much of less qualified rural and urban poor dont vote ir protest vote FI/FN. First lot hate ‘rich’, second hate foreigners or anyone different.

What is this? America? Where everyone except those on welfare or in prison or the 1%, are deemed to be 'Middle Class'? Obama's and Dems' big lie, and then Trump reached the 47% Romney disdained and won 30 states. Macron's base is now bigger than 23% first round as PS+LR implode🙄

So you think that those LR and PS who now vote Macron didn't do it already at the first round?? I think you are wrong! Both sides hated their respective candidates before 1st round. Support is thinner than you think!

What's left of PS or LR now? PS grassroots are gone. LR with Wauquiez is thinning the ranks. If Macron can continue reforms, such as SNCF, which are popular outside Paris mediasphere, and have an impact in Europe as he had with posted workers (détachés) then he has no opposition

So what! Elections in 4 years. Economy in Europe looking up. Who are your middle class going to vote for? Sadly, no choice, as old and younger parties have nothing to offer. It’s either Macron or it’s Berlusconi, Brexit, Orban, Wauquiez. Left is gone for now, like in 1958-1981😢
