Funding can help nursing homes and medical care facilities contain and combat this disease. They risk being crushed with overtime costs for staff. An outbreak will strain these facilities. They will need additional staff for crisis medical care, supplies, and expanded cleaning.

Look, this is exactly what is wrong with our political leaders and the cable news talking heads. They don’t care about problems; they have an agenda. Right now that agenda is showing their hypocrisy. We need to come together and focus on solutions.

When I say solutions, I mean non-partisan solutions. I would like the President, the Governor, and health authorities to speak more loudly and clearly on topics like: * Concerns about hoarding cleaning materials, and personal protection equipment; and

* The bureaucracy appears now to be allowing private medical sources to provide testing and treatments. We need to eliminate the red tape and speed this up; * Consider postponing elective surgeries and take additional steps to free up and expand our medical capacity; and

* Companies like Amazon, Costco, and Walmart need to take strong steps to end hoarding. They need to make sure their supplies are going to medical and health care facilities. We must not let panic jeopardize the front line in protecting our senior citizens.
