Actually, no. A plurality of voters believed Chesa’s campaign promises, which is why they voted for him. When you write “no one” do you actually mean “me”?

His campaign was mostly account not prosecuting criminals, and going after SFPD. The plan for reducing car theft was thrown in to counter similar plans by other candidates, but it contradicted his main narrative of non-enforcement and non-prosecution.
