    Bonus: most any compiler these days is turning your for i = 0 to i = size loop into a loop over pointers from begin to end anyways as soon as you turn optimizations on.

    These touch display terminal directories at the airport are incredible. As in I can't believe they have 5 second input lag and position registration is off ~1.5 inches in the x coordinate.

    Watch lectures from Jim Blinn, Alvy Ray Smith and Ed Catmull An historical gold mine and genuinely filled with detail you can still learn from. Interesting is the lengths they went to remember things without immediate reference (e.g. rotation matrices).

    When I first joined Apple in '88 I was assigned a bug. After fixing it a colleague reviewed and approved, but then said I should ensure nobody rights a similar bug again. 31 years later and I'm still working on that problem.

    Dakota State University students: in Fall 2019, I'm offering Level Design II on campus MWF 4:00-4:50, with emphasis on environmental narrative using the DOOM 2016 SnapMap engine. No prerequisites, including Level Design I, as long as you are interested & willing to work hard.
