She’s not left handed in real life.
She made the choice to play Arya left handed when she was 12 because Arya favors her left hand in the books.

Just so you know, this is totally the sort of thing one could... gloss out of the equation as an actor. Like yes continuity but also, you could’ve changed it over time and hope no one noticed or cared. You have to care to still be committed to it 8 years later.

Considering that she did it from 12-22 I’m willing to bet she’s ambidextrous now. Which is a pretty cool thing to develop for a role.

She’s not. Says it’s her one regret that she has to work so much harder because of a choice she made a decade ago

You tend to try to learn moves on both sides in stage fighting but you don’t usually learn choreography on both sides. -
Interesting! My teachers didn't encourage both hands, just the right. I wish they had. My smallsword teacher did have me train the left but only to make the right better. (It honestly worked.)

Agreed, I've read through all the books and while not all events and plot points are the same, it's pretty obvious that the character of the character has remained intact through the show. I have not seen anything in the show that I could not imagine literary Arya doing.
