Growing up. My mental map was everything west of Cincinnati was Iowa until you got to the mountains or southwest until Texas and Everything North was Lake. I didn't Really give a shit about anything past Columbus or Cincinnati

My happiest memories growing up were spending time with my Mom’s extended family in Ohio. But, it was Canal Lewisville and had a population less than 100.

Outside of Minnesota, Ohio holds the record for most BNL shows I’ve seen in my lifetime...and definitely has great memories. This includes one where on a middle of the night stop between CT and Chicago, I asked blearily “What is a Cleve and why are we in the land of them?”

My friend
@vinceguerrieri & I went to a Browns game a few years ago. Terrible play, I lost my s***, & usher says “Boy, I been working here since this place opened, and you’re the angriest fan I’ve ever seen.” I thanked him, and cried tears of happiness because of the compliment. -
It was this game. https://www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=331201005 … Right after Brandon Weeden fumbled for his third straight turnover.
