Also, why didn't they just use the dragons to fly behind the army and take out the generals who were standing back there? Why didn't they dig more of those trenches to light on fire? So many questions, eish!

The dragons would have been best used on the wall breathing fire when the dead approached the walls. That trench was pointless. Who thought that a meter wide trench would stop an army of undead? I guess that was Jons idea...
