I have a favor to ask. For 20+ years I've been working on a dream: to make all science funded by US taxpayers freely available to all. We are on the verge of achieving this. But we need to show that people care. So please, if you can, sign this letter:

We have 2 papers published in today! 🎉 One describes AlphaFold, which uses deep neural networks to predict protein structures with high accuracy. AlphaFold made the most accurate predictions at the 2018 scientific community assessment CASP13. 1/4

Junior scientist struggling w/ grants asked for advice. I agreed to help them out, but also wanted them to see this image. This image shows the grants that I’ve been involved with going back to 2012. The green dots are the successes, the red dots are failures. Keep submitting.

We just released additional "image-wise" models from our paper "Deep Neural Networks Improve Radiologists' Performance in Breast Cancer Screening". These models act on images individually making them well suited for transfer learning.

I'm writing about the visual system and trying to make a concise circuit diagram. Looking for technical and artistic opinion on this artwork, to try to make it useful to experts and neuroscientists outside the field.

A nice little addition in today's fastai 1.0.54 release: if you subclass fastai `Module` instead of `nn.Module` you don't have to call `super.__init__`. (I added this because I made that mistake EVERY DAMN TIME I created a module! Never again!)
