It can’t just be gender. I look st the choices many white women in leadership are making and how that impacts non white communities and I’m not at all comforted at the thought of more white women in leadership.

That's a great point. And you're right. Not all white women are allies. More women *of color* in leadership, too. Intersectional leadership will be necessary to really move the dial.
