Your implicit bias is showing. Lots of factors isn't always reasonable doubt. Its nuance about the law and what evidence is and is not admissible in court. Whether or not the plaintiff has a juvenile record. This is a legal matter it is NOT a political issue in court.

Juvenile records, indeed all criminal records, rarely admissible in court. And seeing as how these charges are themselves political posturing by elected DA, it is a political issue. When DA is elected, there are political dimensions to all charge/no charge decisions.

The victims records will not come into play because there was no way for KR to know they were criminals when he shot them. His record would come into play in sentencing, mostly if he has a violent history. I suspect he doesn't.
