Anyone want to understand the failings of money bail? Look no further: strong evidence of a white shooter motivated by racial bias committing a double murder with an assault rifle. But wealth sets him free.https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/11/20/kyle-rittenhouse-accused-kenosha-shooter-released-2-million-bail/6363593002/ …

Kyle wasn't assaulted until he shot someone. He shot someone because a homeless man threw a plastic bag with underwear, deodorant, and a half empty water bottle in his general direction. Rittenhouse shouldn't be posing as security if he can't discern what a real threat is

The guys chasing him were convicted felons. So, not so legally carrying a gun.
-
Only 1 was carrying a gun. He is the survivor, not a felon. A legal gun owner with a CCW license in WI and a licensed EMT!https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/10/03/kenosha-shooting-victims/?arc404=true …

They didn't attack him until he shot someone. The only issue that presents a problem was the guy who shot his gun off by the gas station, who was NOT one of his victims. I have better things to do with my time than argue with uninformed ppl.

When you’re chasing someone down the street yelling “get that fuckin guy!” It’s not self defense. Kyle got knocked down, aimed at the guy with the pistol, he put his hands up so Kyle powered the barrel, THEN he went to raise his gun and rush Kyle and that’s when he shot.
-
Again I have said it is possible he gets off on self-defense. He also may only be convicted for 1 count and not both counts of murder. This isn't all or nothing. You still do not understand the working of trial and court procedures. Its pointless to discuss this anymore.

He might have been legally carrying, but he pursued a fleeing Rittenhouse. When you pursue someone who is fleeing, you pretty much lose self defense posture.
-
And you can also lose your self-defense posture if you are committing a crime in the first place. ie illegally carrying a firearm. That is why this case is so difficult. He also wasn't chasing him. He was trying to disarm KR after he shot 2 other people and KR had his gun raised
