I don't get it. It is not like new renters will take the housing after evictions. Everyone needing housing are in the same predicament.

I too thought what’s the point ? Obviously this landlord has tenants lined up. Every market and situation is unique but obviously it’s happening in some parts of the US. I’m in Miami, yeah they have renters with $ lined up round the block.
