    Katie escalated me to Dan who said he's the last point of escalation. Dan says he is unable to generate written confirmation that my account has been canceled and that I should be credited. So, I opened Quicktime and recorded him saying it and his operator ID. Call over, the end.

    Katie was not super pleased with my insistence on written confirmation. I asked her to escalate me again. This may seem petty or whatever but I know if I don't get the words they're saying in writing, Comcast will mess this up and try to ding my credit for money I don't owe them.

    I got escalated to Katie! Katie says she can't send me written confirmation of what they're saying, they'll just process the cancellation & I'll get confirmation of that. I said that won't work bc I've gotten *two* cancellation confirmations already & still got an incorrect bill.

    Christian keeps coming back to the line trying to get me to drop the call instead of talking to a supervisor. Do Comcast CSRs get in trouble for escalating to a supervisor or something?

    I'm adamant about the written confirmation because they tried to bill me for $250 when I *should* have a credit on my account and given that they didn't bother to actually process my original cancellation, I want to make sure I have my receipts for when they mess up again.

    I called back. Christian claims that the last supervisor who left notes in my file was named "Erica" (not Mark!) and that I should be all set. I asked to speak with a supervisor again because I still haven't received written confirmation of all the things they've said.

    I asked "Mark" to send me a confirmation of everything he was saying while we were on the phone (the bill was in error because they didn't process my cancellation request until today 😐, they actually owe me money). While waiting for him to do that, "Mark" hung up on me.

    Ok so. The Comcast agent I was working with said his supervisor was a woman. When the "supervisor" came back on the line, it was curiously not a woman, but a man named "Mark" who sounded identical to the first guy.

    Comcast decided to bill me for a month after I canceled my service and now I have to talk to a supervisor because literally the agent told me "we need to credit your account, I can only do $100, you have to call back and get someone else to do the rest of it." Not today, Satan!
