A terrific, record breaking *3.4 million* vaccinations in the US today, that gets us to almost 90 million Americans with at least 1 dose 👍 https://ckelly17.github.io/vaccine_dashboard.html … Prediction stands: we will reach and exceed 4 million soon!pic.twitter.com/me0T4LhVzI

We saw Israel set a goal of vaccinating 1% of their population a day. It's a small country with ~9 million people. To see the US get 3.4 million jabs in a day, representing >1% of its population of ~331 M--is pretty remarkable.

Friday night update for the #coronavirus and #CoronaVaccine in #Israel. At the end of the election week, we keep going in the right way to leave the corona behind us. Not just because of the politicians and their management but mainly because of the vaccinations. pic.twitter.com/OOaELWW6mI

We average 3M/day during a regular flu season. We're aggressively trying to ramp up vaccines now, so I agree. 4M is doable.

Feds plan to ship 27M doses next week, enough for almost 4M per day on average. I would guess week after next will have days over 4M if injections keep up up with supply. But possibly next Friday. Maybe another week or two after that to average 4M/day.
