So UK strategy risks to be a disaster

No, you wouldn’t expect efficacy to be high 14 days after the first dose. Let’s wait and see what it’s like after 21 days.

Short term rising trend seems broken, possible reversal here.

At all possible we're seeing a data lag here? 2-3 weeks before any immunity is thought to kick in + 2-3 weeks for it to even start showing up in the data? We saw the latter data lag re: lockdowns early on in the pandemic.

Correct.

I’ve been following
@segal_eran too. It looks like there is still strong upward momentum in infections, so that recent reversal could be very powerful.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Eric, did he explain how they have been able to assess the impact of the 1st dose given thay 2nd doses are given already after 3 weeks? I would have thought we need to wait for UK analysis as they do not give 2nd dose until 12 weeks so will have people they can actually monitor.
-
Agreed. Still very unclear how they’re are assessing the impact of the first dose — given immunity only starts at 14days post first dose starting at 52% and building up from there....

People here are trying to draw conclusions without enough information, the government in Israel is just bad, unprofessional, there is a professional team it has appointed, but in the last row the decisions are made in the government (which is very pressured by certain groups ...)
