In the last few years, the agency has lost several cases in which federal courts have held that giving doctors truthful information about off-label uses is protected by the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment.

Warning letters have absolutely declined substantially, but I don’t think this particular trend is tied to Trump admin. At least in devices, FDA has changed its approach to enforcement over past decade, shifting to more incentivizing quality - has led to the declining trend.

We are halfway through the year and still contending with the government shutdown gap. Wait until the end of the year....we have a lot still coming. Also, take a look at the number of CRLs this year. You might see more of a gap.
