Eric, agree to disagree here. She stated that it’s every woman’s worst nightmare to see Lindsey Graham yelling. That’s absurd and cruel in and of itself. And her uncle’s behavior was the definition of cruelty to women. Obviously, no one says she’s responsible for it.

First, thanks for engaging civilly. Second, I understand the problems in what she said as well as the context of family history. But you weren’t there yet in the escalation. I didn’t say be gentle. Your proportionality force principle says it well & better than I can. Be well.
-
Fair, and I’ll definitely consider your point.

By lacking the courage to stand up to a piece of garbage like Ben Shapiro saying vile things to Maria Shriver based on guilt by association is to disqualify yourself as a credible intellectual leader of a movement of even a modicum of respect.

I didn’t realize this was a parody account. But when an *anonymous* troll tells you to
#growaspine after you just backed down a friend from real life...even I have to admit that’s comedy gold! Thanks for the laugh but I now have to mute your comedy stylings for a bit. Last word? -

Shriver’s tweet was a very personal attack on Graham and had nothing to do with an argument. Ben’s question goes to the heart of the shameful hypocracy and purely political animalistic behavior we continue to see from the leftists. Fair game. Do you have blinders on?
-
She attached Graham for something he did presently. Shapiro attached Shriver for something a family member did decades ago.
-
He's atracking her for something she did presently: her attack on Kavanaugh.
-
No on both counts.

Eric's public mild chide cushioned in multiple praises is for the public. Why again does Maria Shriver not have the moral position to criticize Lindsey Graham?
@SamHarrisOrg you're smarter than this, for the love of god, man!

There's another lesson here, which I personally learned from

I know you like him, but his public persona presents as a pugilist (and his following loves him for it). This falls squarely in line with that.
-
Because the left feels entitled to make any statement about a Republican without compunction, including that Lindsey Graham is the face of terror for women all over the country. This is deemed normal behavior, not “pugilism”
-
And also takes as assumed that they speak for “women”, when this is not remotely true. They speak for women on the left, strictly
