The Gated Institutional Narrative is not something you can join as an individual. You have to sit in an institutional chair. This is how its magic works. The funny part about the narrative is that it would instantly collapse if it were not protected from challenge by individuals.

So I issue a challenge: Dear
@zephoria,@datasociety &@beccalew. I want to long-form platform you to boost your signal. Join me in explaining your methodology to the very folks you think are trapped in a reactionary echo chamber. That is if you’re serious of course. -ERW PhDShow this thread -
@RubinReport@joerogan and@benshapiro@jordanbpeterson@SamHarrisOrg please consider issuing an invitation. As a Bernie voter, I’ll personally guarantee it will be civil, intellectual, and electrifying audio having nothing to do with right wing sentiments.Show this thread

This is a lazy-woman’s McCarthyism. She could have at least done some real work

I often defend
@SamHarrisOrg as a liberal, and I’ll die on that hill; but@BretWeinstein and@EricRWeinstein? I’ll dig my own grave, put on a suit, and climb in the coffin. -
As someone who has been shot at in front of a large audience for defending Sam Harris I still don't fully understand their problem with Harris. Granted he has messed up (Charles Murray) but the history of his work and speech shows a compassionate and deeply empathetic human
-
Agreed, and I don’t even think his judgement of Charles Murray was much of a moral mistake as it was intellectual. James Flynn, a liberal intelligence researcher who’s been arguing against Murray for years, even has defended him as a good person, but just intellectually mistaken.

Isn't it interesting that all of these issues that can't stand up to the most basic tests of logic are all coming to a head. Got your back bro.

Is “Opinion Laundering” a more vivid metaphor and easier to remember than “Gated Institutional Narrative”
-
Love this
-
Vivid < descriptive
-
Memorable is important, it’s kind of the entire point, and I think the metaphor is more commonly understood.

Eric is God. Koch funded "libertarian" shills can't hold a candle to him intellectually. Everyone should look at his material on being a xenophile-restrictionist and open your mind to what else might not be a "contradiction" even though mainstream politics would have you think so
