Honestly, you know I love Sam. He’s really my guru. But I think he succumbs to flattery. It might be that simple.

Yeah, maybe some of that and I think he’s walled himself off a lot from what goes on. His own little safe space where he doesn’t want to see why people are so frustrated with certain people. They’re his friends and he doesn’t want to see the bad sides of his friends.

I agree with Weinstein on CNN(all news channel in US) is overly dramatic. But we have to be crystal clear that we need media(4th pillar) that always questions authority(left or right). Note: Questions and falsifying/exaggerating are different things.

what do you mean with overly dramatic. hurricane ike killed 70 people in the US alone. the storm surge was measured at 16.9 feet. would you have sent the film crew into the most dangerous parts of the flood? what the fuck?

I am not referring to this particular instant. I am talking about general presentation in US news channel. Nobody beats fox on being hyper biased but CNN, MSNBC are also no saints. I grew up watching BBC. None of the US news channels has the standard of BBC.

I don't think Weinstein is idiot. He is just mad that MSM does not play according to his narrative. I do watch CNN but I will only extract the facts and not the degrees of opinions from it, which I think Weinstein fails to do.

his narrative? who does he think he is? cnn reported about a hurricane which devastated vast areas and killed more than 100 people. and weinstein thinks that's fake cause cooper didn't send his camera team into the deepest water. weinstein is a narcissist.

Not that there isn’t some baseline level of this kind of hucksterism happening all the time...

And Snopes notes that Cooper stated that the water level was highly variable and had he taken two steps to his rear, he would have sunk up to his neck. So it’s a mixed bag, had he taken five steps forward, he’d have been in ankle deep; the drama of the ditch was intentional...
