Why is there an area in KY (Louisville area?) that is white despite the rest of the state is black?

That’s Covington. They haven’t suspended public Masses yet, at least as of when this map was made.

I think it’s important to note that some dioceses (using Charlotte, NC as an example) don’t really have a choice, as the governor signed an executive order banning public gatherings of over 100 people. My former parish (in that diocese) attracted ~1200 per weekend Mass
