The NYT heard way back in Oct 2017 that State Depart. officials had raised ethics concerns abt a pending trip by DOT Sec. Elaine Chao to China. After we asked abt the trip, it was cancelled. @EricLiptonNYT and his colleagues exposing corruption in the most corrupt administration in history. For all who knock@nytimes understand how many great reporters do essential work. -
He’s an investigative reporter, they all do great work but the editorial direction of their political coverage is broken. As is the fact that they can’t take criticism and spend a part of their day as pontificators on cable news.
